Our short story:
 
La Pizzeria opened in August 2015, from an idea of Claudio and Stefano two Italian guys, who already had successful businesses on Koh Tao.
Initially there was nothing but a Pizza oven, a dough mixer and a very old refrigerator which was so noisy that we had to shout to make us be heard… We used to call it “the TAXI Boat”, its compressor sounded like a long tail boat engine. But we all had also a real passion for Italian food.

Only Pizza, only delivery and take away service, only “one unit” shop. That’s how we started.
Since the beginning our pizza was immediately well appreciated by our community, our staff got a little bigger and our pizza delivery service rapidly become the most popular on Koh Tao, despite our location didn’t help us at all…
After one year we opened the first dining room, and we started cooking homemade Pasta, Lasagna, Risotto, Ravioli, following mamma Anna’s and papà Marco’s genuine Italian recipes and we begin offering eat in service, and we keep cooking our recipes with the same love and passion we had when we started.

All our recipes are cooked with the top notch imported Italian ingredients. Our Ricotta, Mascarpone, vegan Mozzarella, vegan Feta and vegan Parmesan are homemade in our restaurant.
